Scholarships For Children and Grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans |
| Eligibility: |
All High School Juniors and Seniors, in Syracuse and in Onondaga County, whose Father, Mother
or Grandparent served in the Armed Forces of the United States in Southeast Asia and the adjacent
waters of the South China Sea during the Vietnam War and be awarded a Vietnam Campaign Ribbon, from the years August 4th, 1964 to May 7th, 1975.
This includes the
Children and Grandchildren of members of VVA Chapter 103. |
| Awards: |
One-Time only awards of at least $1,000 each to be paid, upon proof of enrollment, at an accredited 2 or 4 year institution. |
| Deadline: |
Applications must be received by V.V.L.P. no later than October 12th, 2010. |
| Criteria: |
1. Academic Achievement
2. Community Service and Financial Need
3. In addition, a written essay is required.
