Dear Friend
Each year the Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program awards college scholarships to local high school seniors who are children and grandchildren of a veteran of the Vietnam War Era. During the 1960's, many college age men and women postponed their education or were drafted from college to serve in our country's military. For many, the dream of a college education was lost. With that thought in mind, Vietnam Veterans across our country organized to promote education and leadership in our nation's youth.
In its 20 years, the V.V.L.P. has awarded over $116,000 in college scholarships. Each award is named in memory of a serviceman or woman, who did not return home from the battlefields of Vietnam. We ask for your continued support of this worthy endeavor. The Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program is an all volunteer, non-profit (501(c)3) organization.
A tax-deductible donation of $50, $100, or more, will greatly assist in the education of our youth. A $1,000 contribution will fund a full scholarship and your donation will be remembered with a full-page ad in our Annual Luncheon Program.
Each year the V.V.L.P., with the support of people like you, has been able to award a minimum of four $1,000 scholarships. This year we hope to raise enough to fund scholarships at higher levels.
V.V.L.P. would be extremely grateful for your tax-deductible donations which should be addressed to:

In closing, we wish to express our gratitude to the community for its strong support. We remind you that 100% of the funds raised are used for the scholarship awards.
Sincerely,
John De Spirito III
President
